Vodafone Automotive offer two Tracking Systems suitable for your motorhome depending on your budget and the level of protection you or your insurance company require. Both of these systems are Thatcham and Insurance Approved.

To help you decide which option is best for you we’ve broken it down really simply to give you the core facts of both systems.

With Vodafone Protect & Connect you have access to Vodafone Automotive’s “My Connected” Car mobile and web application with the added ability of accessing a direct SOS button to Vodafone Automotive’s Secure Operating Centre, Self-Diagnosis and Special Modes.

  • GSM Jamming Alert – If an attempt to jam the GSM signal is detected then an alert will be sent to the Vodafone Control Room

The Vodafone Protect & Connect S7 system is a Thatcham S7 accredited and benefits from both GSM and GPS. This system is recognised by all major insurers and is an excellent choice if you are looking for one of the highest tracking systems currently available on the market.

This is your standard go-to system if you’re in need of a basic tracker for your Motorhome.

These subscriptions are paid directly to Vodafone Automotive and not Motorhome Retrofits.

Vodafone S5-VTS+ (Option Two) Supplied and fitted is £849
including VAT and ONE Years Subscription at our workshop in Poole, Dorset.

 

The Vodafone Protect & Connect S5-VTS+ builds on the S7 system also offered by Vodafone. As well as offering the standard stolen vehicle tracking with European coverage it also offers the enhanced features such as Driver ID Recognition and Remote Engine Immobilisation.

​

Additional features include:

 

  • Automatic Driver Recognition – You will be issued with a unique pocket sized Driver Card and on leaving the vehicle the system will automatically arm itself. If the vehicle is moved without your Driver Card present then an alert will be sent to the Vodafone Control Room that the vehicle is potentially be stolen even if the vehicle is taken using the original key.

  • Remote Ignition Lock – Also known as Remote Engine Immobilisation. This enables the Police to authorise Vodafone to send an alert to the vehicle and prevent the engine being started once it has come to a safe standstill. This significantly increases the chance of both the vehicle and it’s contents being recovered undamaged. It also helps prevent high speed Police pursuit of suspected stolen vehicles.

  • Added Security - if the driver card is not present, the system will also generate an alert when your vehicle is lifted / towed away without the keys or when your vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged.

Installing a Vodafone Automotive Stolen Vehicle tracking System automatically gives you access to our mobile application and web services. With My Connected Car you can access and manage a number of your vehicle security and safety functions remotely. My Connected Car provides easy access to vehicle information such as real-time vehicle location and the following other features:

  • Live Vehicle Location with Google Maps Overlay

  • Trip Reports to see your latest and historical journeys

  • Car Finder Route to quickly find your vehicle

  • Geofence Zones so you know when your vehicle enters or leaves an area

  • Speed Alert to receive notification if the vehicle goes above the limit

  • SOS Button direct to the Vodafone Automotive Operating Centre

  • Special Modes to activate Garage or Transport Mode

  • Self Diagnosis so you can perform your own health check
